British Days + Country Fair
It's all very British from 10 till 12 September 2010 at Burg Linn in Krefeld where the ‘British Days + Country Fair' is being held for the 13th time. For three whole days it's all about lifestyle, products and entertainment ‘made in Great Britain'.

Look, shop, wine and dine
The greatest variety of products relating to house, garden and fashion are being presented. And it's not just a question of decoration and interior furnishing to create a stylish ambience to feel at home in, there are also antiques and arts and crafts to be admired. Numerous country and natural products round it all off. One special tip: at the Candle Light Shopping taking place on Friday till 9.00 pm, the exhibition area is transformed into a sea of lights.

No one will be disappointed by what's on offer in terms of food and drink: in addition to the all day breakfast, high tea, fish & chips, English beer, whisky and Pimms, there will be no shortage of sweet delicacies from the British Isles.

A richly varied entertainment programme with falconry displays, street theatre, Irish folk music, bagpipes, welly wanging, cricket and rugby will make the British Days a fantastic experience.

Great Britain nonstop - information on flights from DUS
The theme of travel will also play a major role at the British Days, and Düsseldorf Airport will be found amongst the tourism providers. Every day at DUS more than 30 flights take off for Great Britain and Ireland. Passengers at NRW (North Rhine-Westphalia)'s biggest airport can choose from a total of twelve British destinations served by seven airlines. You can get more information at the airport's stand where, with a little bit of luck, you can win flight tickets. We're looking forward to your visit.

The Düsseldorf International Open Air Proms Concert
‘The Düsseldorf International Open Air Proms Concert' will be the highlight of the British Days 2010 programme, a concert of the very highest quality taking place on Saturday evening. Düsseldorf Airport is the main sponsor of this top event and, in the beautiful castle grounds, you will be able to enjoy England's concert tradition which dates back more than 100 years. The Philharmonie Südwestfalen (NRW State Orchestra) will be playing under the direction of Russell N. Harris, and Maria Rebekka Stöhr and Richard Morrison will be appearing as soloists.
