Lufthansa flies direct from Düsseldorf to more than 50 destinations, six of which are new this year: Athens, Gdansk, Dubrovnik, Edinburgh, Lisbon and Naples.

There are flights throughout the year to Athens and Gdansk, the other cities being destinations Lufthansa flies to only in the summer months.

The flight schedule in Great Britain includes Inverness in Scotland, Jersey in the Channel Islands and the coastal town of Newquay in Cornwall. There are flights every Saturday to all three destinations until 11 September.

In the south the attractions are Nice, Olbia on the Mediterranean island of Sardinia and Venice, the city of canals. There are flights to all three destinations through to October. And then there are the major cities of Barcelona, Madrid and Rome and Palma (Majorca).

To the far north, for travellers from North Rhine-Westphalia, Reykjavik awaits with two weekly flights. Lufthansa’s destination in Iceland is the international airport at Keflavik.
